Zoe Crichton is an emerging visual artist practicing on Ngarrindjeri and Ramindjeri land.

She completed a Bachelor of Visual Art before pursuing studies in teaching. Alongside her studio practice, she works as a secondary visual arts teacher and has a strong interest in workshops and community engagement through visual art.

Informed by her background in Drawing and Photography, Zoe creates works that merge realism and abstraction to capture the feeling of a fleeting moment. Current works reflects on the landscape of her own and her son’s formative years, exploring transitional periods, and the way experiences of place and play become absorbed into memory. She also draws on her studies in Textiles, occasionally incorporating stitched, dyed or tactile elements within her work.

In 2026, she presented solo exhibitions, Suburban Dancing at Coral Street Artspace, and local. as part of SALA. In 2025, she engaged with her community through a drawing installation at Slow Mover Coffee and facilitated workshops alongside these exhibitions.

Zoe is a 2026 SALA in Lights finalist.
